In an interview, the artist talked a lot about his personal life and the way he learned to live happily with Parkinson’s disease. He said that he had accepted the condition and that he realized that he would not be able to change anything by being panic and restless.

82-year-old Neil appeared on CBS Sunday Morning and spoke to journalist Anthony Mason regarding the illness. He said that he received his diagnosis years ago. In 2018, things changed for him when he got to know about Parkinson’s disease but with time, he developed an understanding of it and learned how to continue living a normal life.

A Little About His Personal Life

In 1963, Diamond married his high school girlfriend, Jaye Posner. They got separated after some years and in December 1969, Neil Diamond tied the knot with Marcia Murphey. Their marriage lasted for a long but things didn’t go as planned and they announced their divorce in 1995. Afterward, in 2011, Neil Diamond announced his engagement to Katie McNeil.
