Alicia Amanda Vikander was born in 1988 and is the daughter of stage actress Maria Fahl and psychiatrist Svante Vikander. She started acting at a young age and played minor roles on stage. She also received training for ballet dancing from the Royal Swedish Ballet of Stockholm.
